Privacy policy

Stock Manager Pro(“we”, “us”) provides business management software at https://stockmanagerpro.com. You can reach us at contact@stockmanagerpro.com.

This policy covers the Stock Manager Pro website and application. If you are a customer of one of our users — for example, you received an invoice created with Stock Manager Pro — that business is the one deciding what to do with your details, and you should contact them directly. We process that information on their behalf.

Account information. Your name, email address, business name and password. Passwords are stored only as a cryptographic hash — we cannot read them, and neither can anyone else with access to our database.

Business data you enter. Whatever you put into the app: clients and suppliers, invoices, quotes, sales, products and stock levels, expenses, and employee records including salaries, attendance and leave. This is yours.

Payment information. When you pay for a package, card and mobile money details go straight to our payment processor and never reach our servers. We keep only the amount, currency, package, a reference and whether it succeeded.

Technical information. A record of your sign-ins for your own activity log, plus error diagnostics if something breaks. Where analytics is enabled we also see aggregate page views.

We use your information to run Stock Manager Pro for you: to sign you in, store and show your business records, process payments for your package, send the emails you ask the app to send, keep the service secure, and fix things when they break.

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with anyone for advertising.

We keep these to a minimum. We do not use advertising cookies.

• Sign-in session— keeps you logged in. If you leave “Remember me” unticked it is cleared when you close your browser.
• Selected store — remembers which branch you are working in, so the till and stock screens open in the right place.
• Theme — remembers light or dark mode.
• Analytics — only if analytics is enabled on this site, and only in aggregate.

Stock Manager Pro runs on infrastructure that operates globally, so your data may be stored or processed outside the country you are in, including in the United States and the European Union. Where that happens we rely on the transfer safeguards our infrastructure has in place.

Your business data is kept for as long as your account is open. If you close your account we delete it, except where we are required to keep records of payments for tax and accounting purposes. Error diagnostics are kept for a short period and then discarded.

• All traffic is encrypted in transit (HTTPS).
• Every business's data is isolated at the database level, so one account cannot read another's — enforced by the database itself, not just by the application.
• Team members only see the modules their role permits.
• Passwords are hashed, never stored in readable form.
• Optional auto-lock signs you out of an idle screen.

No system is perfectly secure, but if a breach ever affects your data we will tell you.

• Ask for a copy of your data — most of it you can export as CSV from the app yourself, at any time.
• Correct anything that is wrong, from within the app or by asking us.
• Ask us to delete your account and its data.
• Object to how we are using your data, or ask us to restrict it.
• Withdraw consent where we relied on it.

Stock Manager Pro is business software and is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top, and tell you in the app or by email if the change is significant.
