Share an invoice
Send an invoice by WhatsApp, your email app or a link, or download it as a PDF.
Every invoice has its own private link. Your client opens it in a browser — no account needed — and can download the PDF from there.
Send an invoice
Open Billing → Invoices and select the invoice.
Select Send.
Choose how to send it:
- Open in my email app — opens your usual email app with a message ready, addressed to the client, containing the invoice link.
- Share on WhatsApp — opens WhatsApp with a message and the invoice link written for you. Choose your client's chat and send.
- Copy share link — copies the link, to paste anywhere: SMS, a chat app, or your own email.
Download the PDF
On the invoice, select Download to save a PDF — to print, attach to an email yourself, or keep for your records.
What your client sees
The link opens the invoice exactly as it looks in the app — your logo, business details, items and totals — with a Download PDF button at the top.
Good to know
- Why a link and not an attachment? Email apps can't be given an attachment from a web page, so Open in my email app includes the link. If you'd rather attach the file, Download it first and attach it in your email app.
- Anyone with the link can view the invoice. Only share it with your client.
- Quotes work the same way. Open a quote and use its Send menu.
- Getting paid? When your client pays, open the invoice and select Record payment for part of the amount, or Mark as paid for all of it.
