Ring up a sale
Add products to the cart, take payment and finish the sale at the Point of Sale.
Enterprise package
Point of Sale is part of the Enterprise package. The register must be open before you can sell.
Make a sale
Open Sell → Point of Sale.
Add products to the cart. Any of these work:
- Tap a product in the grid.
- Type in the search box — by name, barcode or SKU. Press Enter to add the product if only one matches.
- Scan a barcode — see Barcode scanners.
Tapping the same product again adds one more.
Check the cart. Use − and + to change a quantity, or the bin icon to remove a line.
Select Charge (total).
Choose the payment method and enter the payment — see Payment methods — then select Complete sale.
You'll see Sale complete with the sale number and any change to give. Select View receipt to print it, or New sale to clear the till for the next customer.
The cart

On a phone or tablet, the cart sits in a bar at the bottom of the screen. Tap it to open the cart, or tap Charge to go straight to payment.
Find products faster
- All / In stock / Out of stock — filter the grid by stock.
- 2 / 4 / 6 / 8 — how many products per row on larger screens.
- List icon — switch between a grid with pictures and a compact list.
Stock at the till
- Each product shows how many are in stock at this store.
- Out of stock products are greyed out and can't be added — unless the product has Allow negative stock switched on.
- You can't add more of a product than the store has.
- Products that don't track stock are always available.
- Stock updates by itself when another till sells or stock is received, so what you see stays current.
Good to know
- Leaving with items in the cart? Selecting Exit asks first. Choose Park and exit to keep the sale for later, or Discard and exit.
- Prices come from the product. The till charges the product's current price, including any discount running on it. If a price is wrong, change it in Stock → Products.
- "You do not have permission to process sales" — your role doesn't include the Point of Sale. Ask your business owner or admin.
